A very special facility in Frankfurt's city forest. From the tower there is a magnificent view in all directions. Thank God this tower has been rebuilt!

In 2017 the old Goethe Tower fell victim to an arsonist, but the reconstruction was extremely successful. When you get to the top you have a great view of the Frankfurt skyline, all the way to the airport and the Taunus. Down at the foot of the tower there is a place to stop for refreshments and a large playground for the children.

The Goetheturm is always worth a visit! The view from the top is magnificent. In 2017, the old tower, built in 1931, fell victim to arson, but it has since been rebuilt and is open to the public during the summer.

!!! DANGER !!! The new Goethe Tower is open annually between April 1st. and 31.10. Open and remains closed in autumn and winter for safety reasons. Closing takes place at dusk - 8 p.m. at the latest!!!
