Here, on the fourth highest mountain in the Rhön, the Hessian-Bavarian border runs... from here, if the weather is good, you can see the Lange Rhön. At the summit, there is a German Telekom transmission tower that can be seen from far away.

From the summit cross of the Weyershauck you have a great view of the surrounding area. Many rest benches invite you to take a break here.

The Weyhershauk is a nature reserve in the Rhön biosphere reserve. On the natural history trail, hikers can get to know the northernmost occurrence of an important dry habitat in Bavaria. It is one of the most valuable areas due to its species-rich equipment with a large variety of animal and plant species.

The Heidelstein transmitter is located on the 926 m high Heidelstein in the Franconian part of the Rhön. It consists of a 218 meter high guyed tubular steel mast built by Deutsche Telekom AG in 1969, which carries antennas for radio relay and for broadcasting TV and VHF radio programs.
