An excellent cycle path on the former railway line. It's almost completely flat, free of potholes and uneven surfaces. The route is also relatively quiet, making it ideal for really picking up speed. The surrounding scenery is particularly charming. Overall, this cycle path is highly recommended.

The Kalte Staude is a group of two beech trees on the St2195, coming from Braunersreuth, which have been registered as a natural monument since 1960. The two 300-year-old trees have hollow trunks, but are still stable and regularly sprout new shoots in their crowns. The name "Kalte Staude" probably has the meaning of a border. These terms are often found in northeast Bavaria. The two distinctive trees are a symbol of the region and an attractive natural monument.
