The Steinberg in the Braunschweig district of Broitzem is, at 107 meters, only the second highest mountain in Braunschweig. The neighboring Geitelder Berg is a full four meters higher at 111 meters. Nevertheless, you have a great panoramic view from the Steinberg, including as far as the Brocken to the south. The summit of the Steinberg is easy to reach by bike from both Geitelde and Broitzem via a paved path.
