The "Large Woman Seated in the Sun" is a bronze nude by Fritz During from 1959 on the lakeside of Plön Castle. "In addition to the sensual and relaxed depiction, the focus here is primarily on the formal structure—the beauty of the lines that the eye can follow. On the lake side of Plön Castle, Fritz During's Large Sitting in the Sun is squatting on a large boulder. The seated female nude presents the figure with bent legs crossed and arms crossed over the head. The face is turned sideways, upwards, towards the sun. In addition to the sensual, relaxed depiction, the formal structure is particularly important here - the beauty of the lines that the eye can follow.
