A church in "Greuling" was first mentioned in 1315. The patronage of St. Margaret has been documented since 1524. After it was probably built in the Romanesque style common at the time, it was given a late Gothic appearance through alterations and additions around 1500. In 1682, the nave was remodeled in the Baroque style and a gallery was added. A pulpit was added to the women's side (left) in 1721. Today, it serves as an ambo.
