Great bike route along the course of the former wall.

The landscape architects have done a great job with the park created as a compensatory measure for the construction of the A113 motorway. The area has its own charm at every time of the day and year and invites you to interrupt your bike or hiking tour and explore the area away from the Wall Trail. Not only does it feature water buffalos, which you usually have to look for on the extensive grounds, but it is also a great waterfowl area (it is worth bringing binoculars with you). The famous "MIlchhof" Mendler is also in close proximity and is worth a visit on its own (its annual harvest festivals are legendary).
