The imposing moated castle is still inhabited by the Bentheim-Tecklenburg royal family today. It combines several architectural styles: a chapel tower from the 13th century, a Renaissance wing with a gallery and a Baroque wing. The important "White Hall" in the Rococo style, the wallpaper room and the small castle chapel with a prisoner's graffiti are among the sights worth seeing. Guided tours are offered regularly.

Great cycle path, easy to ride. Always along the Ems.

The Körkesweg is not so easy to drive with the gravel passage for cyclists 🚴♂️. One should be very careful there.

Nice wide gravel path between Greffen and Beelen. On one side the forest, on the other side the wide view over the fields.

The avenue along the Ems cycle path is very easy to drive and has very little traffic. Simply fantastic.
