非常に美しい展望の良い頂上、夏でも冬でも素晴らしいツアー

The Thaler Kogel (1,656 m) belongs to the Hochschwab group and is something of an insider tip among the mountains with great views. There is no hut, but there is a beautiful summit cross, a great view and two benches with tables. You can climb it from several directions.

Simply beautiful, somewhat challenging hike, about 2 hours and a visit to the Pribitzalm is always worthwhile for a TREAPAZA LG. Manfred

May 25, 2024: We wanted to climb the Fölzstein today. We discovered the circular hiking trail via the Stoamandlweg. As an inexperienced hiker, this path is very dangerous. There are always exposed rocks to pass. Not to mention that the path is not signposted. We then used the path from the Fölzkogel to the Grasserhütte as a descent, which had slipped over the winter. It was quite difficult to find an alternative path due to the slope. We had to keep passing snow fields. The terrain was sloping in this area. I wouldn't do this hike again at the moment. A very high level of sure-footedness is required.

The incredible view is the true reward for the climb. If the visibility is good, you can see the Zirbitzkogel (border with Carinthia). Ötscher, Hochkar, Großer Priel, Hochtor, Eisenerzer Reichenstein and many more show themselves from their best side.

The Pribitz lies directly above the picturesque Grüner See and can be easily reached from the Sonnschienalm in 5km. But there are also steep climbs on both sides of the Grüner See to this summit. However, none of these paths are marked - but at least the easy path from the Sonnschienalm is easy to find using Komoot!

From here you have a fantastic view of the Hochschschwab massif and the Eisenerz Alps
