The ship mill Mureck is located in the south of Mureck. It offers a beautiful view of the Mur, which is the border between Austria and Slovenia. The Kreuzberg Warte is currently temporarily closed due to renovation work. It's closed for the winter anyway. Very good 360 degree all-round view to Riegersburg, Schöckl, Koralpe, Pohorje Slovenia. There are over 100 steps to get to the control room.

old weir Oberschwarza. This weir was mainly used to bring water to the paper mills that were and still are in the area via a works canal. Today of no importance, but an exciting relic. From here, the state border pulls back from the middle of the Mur to the interior of the country.
