The Fulda River is one of the most beautiful in Hesse, from its source to the Weser estuary in Hann. Münden.

But to describe the place, Spiekershausen, as sleepy is something that is not only to be disliked by the former and long-standing mayor I know. Isn't that right, H.?😎😉🤣 And if you want to judge this for yourself, like I sometimes do, just take the Wahnhausen barrage from HMÜ, drive into the town and take the cycle path via Niestetal-Sandershausen in Kassel back to the Fulda cycle path, or vice versa from Kassel. A beautiful and worthwhile alternative away from the fast cycle path. 🚴‍♀️🖐

🖐️Beautiful cycle path, the Werra cycle path has been a busy connection between my old and new home since 1994. But 🚴🏾🚴🏾drivers, please pay more attention to pedestrians/hikers. This was and still is their route. 🖐️
