The Kelchalm / Bochumer Hütte is located in the Kitzbühel South Mountains at an altitude of 1,432 m. It was built in 1832 to provide protection for the miners who worked there. Shower tokens for 5 min warm showers are available for €5. Charging options for cell phones in the dining room. The hut landlady Ilona cooks well and enjoys cooking. On the snack platter, the sausage is partly made from animals raised on the Alpine pasture. The eggs in Kaiserschmarrn come from our own chickens. The insider tip is the cheese dumpling duo with one dumpling in the soup and a second fried dumpling on salad.

The Hacklberg Trail is probably the most legendary trail in the Alps – mountain bike history was and is being written here.
