The Hollbruck Lakes lie at an elevation of approximately 2,200 to 2,300 meters. They're not a dramatic postcard scene, but rather a place for lovers of the quiet, unpretentious beauty of the Alps. The ascent via trail number 15 in the high valley floor is partly rocky and leads over a few bends to the so-called Restlangarten at an altitude of 2,241 meters. From there, the route continues over blocks and slabs to the lake. Alpine experience and the right equipment are absolutely necessary.
