A beautifully designed viewing platform is located directly on the water. From here, you have a phenomenal view of the Weidmoos bird paradise. By the way: you're not allowed to cycle all the way here. So leave your bike at the bike rack and walk a few meters.

The bridge over the Wöhrsee between Hauptsee and Herzogbad is the only way to cross the Wöhrsee. It was renovated in April 2024. During the construction work, the entire bridge, including the concrete foundations and lock, was dismantled and renewed. The wooden girders were replaced with steel girders so that rotting wood will no longer be a problem in the future.

There is also a winter bathing area, which is open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. this season from October 15, 2024 to March 31, 2025. It is of course closed when there is snow or ice.
