The "Enzianhütte" is always worth a hike! You can sit outside with a beautiful panoramic view, it's also very cozy inside, and the hosts are very friendly. The onward route via the "Mauthner Alm" to the "Untere Valentinalm" is magnificent; the view of the "Polinik," into the "Gailtal," to the "Reißkofel"... is spectacular! However, it should be dry for this.

A very simple but very friendly hut. For those who only need the essentials.

Here, the club members take turns managing the hut in the summer and there is no regular tenant. That is exactly what makes this hut so quaint, unique and recommendable. You feel like you are part of the family and are more likely to sit in the kitchen than in the dining room :-)
