The campsite is located almost like a fairy tale between meadows and forests at the foot of the 2,114 m high Petzen in the south of Carinthia. Small but beautiful - and just right for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

The Pirkdorfer See is a quarry pond in the Carinthian municipality of Feistritz ob Bleiburg. The lake is located in the middle between the main town and the district of Pirkdorf. At the site of the lake there was a wet area that was turned into a bathing lake by dredging.

A very well-kept campsite and there are wonderfully well-kept cycle paths throughout the region!

These meadows were flooded over 200 years ago and the resulting pond was used for fishing. At the time of this fishing, the construction of the Tomar chaste, which probably also served as a fishing hut or pond keeper's hut, also took place.
