Superbly developed pedestrian and cycle path

Beautiful cycle path uphill to the rock cellar in Kalchreuth, on the right-hand side opposite the sports field.

The listed, Evangelical Lutheran parish church of St. Mary Magdalene stands in Tennenlohe, a district in the southeast of the city of Erlangen (Middle Franconia, Bavaria). The church is registered as a historical monument in the Bavarian Monument Register under the monument number D-5-62-000-921. The parish belongs to the Erlangen deanery in the Nuremberg church district of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria.

Beautiful area on the city limits of Erlangen

The small Wied Pond in Tennlohe is a small, idyllic spot and part of the local sculpture park. Dieter Erhard's "Ferryman" is also very beautiful. The boat stands at the edge of the pond and, due to the low water level, appears to float above the surface.
