After visiting the impressive lookout tower and the Prochenhütte, be sure to visit the summit cross. The panorama is breathtaking and alpine. It's recommended to leave your bike at the bottom just before the final climb. If it's not too heavy, you can also carry or push it up for a summit photo; it's not far.

The castle houses a local history museum and Ernst Urschitz's historical weapons collection with over 400 exhibits in the castle tower. The 23 m high tower also serves as a viewing tower with a panoramic view of the Mostviertel.

In summer, concerts and theater performances take place in the romantic arcaded courtyard. The west wing shows the cultural side of the palace. Exhibitions and a historical weapon collection of the armourer Ernst Urschitz are shown there.
