The church tower of Saint-Etienne was once an integral part of the fortifications. Easily recognizable by its solid construction and the loopholes on the sides. In the tower passage there is an interesting information board stating that Wolfgang Amadé Mozart and his family stopped in Moudon in 1766 on their journey through Switzerland.

The Route de la Corniche in Lavaux is a beautiful route that winds through the famous vineyards of Lavaux. This region, located on the southern shore of Lake Geneva, is the largest contiguous wine-growing region in Switzerland with 800 hectares of vineyards. The steep terraces of Lavaux were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2007.
