The Franz Ferdinand Hut is located directly on the Parapluiberg in the Föhrenberge Nature Park above Perchtoldsdorf and close to the federal capital Vienna. The rather easy climb over the Perchtoldsdorfer Heide is an ideal excursion option for walkers, hikers and cyclists in both winter and summer. Very special highlights are the breathtaking view over Vienna and the diverse hiking and mountain biking opportunities through the beautiful natural landscapes in the surrounding area.
