Small, rustic alpine pasture away from the mainstream. There's really good buttermilk here and a sufficiently large menu with authentic dishes - the detour to Walleralm is definitely worth it!

The landlord doesn't like MTBs and has put up a few small signs on the way that are easy to overlook. It happened to me and I was hit so aggressively by him upstairs while I was eating, for minutes even though I asked him to let me eat, that I would never set foot on his bottom again. His rudeness is widely known. But the staff is nice.

Great hut in a beautiful landscape! The quality of the food and drink is praiseworthy, especially the caramelized Kaiserschmarrn with the plum stew is a classic 👍 Definitely a MUST for a short detour ...

Great mountain hut in Chiemgau. Adequate supply of board and card games, play corners and bookshelf on the living floor, therefore highly recommended for kids / families too! Tours to the Geigelstein or the Breitenstein are super beautiful. There is a small patch with a good cell phone connection on the terrace in front of the hut by the fence.
