steep but quiet climb up to the Alpe

Contrary to the information further up the hiking trail, this hut is not open all year round. Otherwise, it is a nice place to take a break.

Our own dairy from the cows that live here in the summer. We highly recommend the cream cheese and the mountain cheese, which has also been awarded a gold medal. The alpine pasture is managed by the Beschling agricultural community. Up here there are cows, sheep and goats on the extensive pastures. If you want, you can take a detour to the top of the Gampberg.

Nice to drive there, but unfortunately you are not allowed to take the hiking trail down. Forbidden for cyclists, so you have to go down the dirt road again
