The Rappenloch and Alploch Gorges in Dornbirn are among the largest gorges in Central Europe. They were carved into the hard limestone by the flowing water of the Dornbirner Ach. Today adventurous footbridges lead through them and past extraordinary rock formations. They are therefore very well developed.

A magnificent natural setting where the weather doesn't matter: there's plenty of water, you'll definitely get wet. 🤗 The paths are well maintained and inclines are very conveniently replaced with steps. Elsewhere, you'd have to pay a lot to get in.

At first you have no idea what beautiful gorge awaits you. Especially after the detours and construction work in the Rappenloch Gorge, we enjoyed the peace and quiet.
