The Bad Kissinger Hütte is located right on the border between Bavaria and Tyrol. Unfortunately, it was so crowded today that I couldn't find a spot. 😬

We had a fantastic meal here after a strenuous climb and challenging descent. The food is a bit more expensive (Kaiserschmarn at just under 15 euros), but the portions are adequate and super tasty.

A very large hut that is very popular with climbers as there are many options in the area. Food and drinks are great, you should plan 1.5 hours for the ascent from the valley.

Very nice alpine pasture right on the border with a great outdoor area. Be sure to take a break here during the hike 🥾 and enjoy your snack 🥖.
