Right near the path, you can admire this beautiful waterfall where the Brenno water plunges from the rock jumps.

The Scardara valley is enclosed between suggestive rock walls (particularly loved by boulders), comfortable green meadows and the cool stream.

The Val Scaradra is at the very end of the Blenio Valley, sandwiched between the Greina plain and the Rheinwaldhorn (Adula), the highest peak in Ticino. The former Frauenalp is located in a wonderful valley basin and thanks to the noble self-catering hut you can live comfortably here. Many boulders, a climbing garden and the proud nine pitches of the "Via Scaradra" make a visit definitely worthwhile. The alp itself is flat and therefore very child-friendly, but the approach should not be underestimated, especially when it is wet (90 minutes)

The suspension bridge makes access to the hut much easier. It leads over the Sumvitgerrhein, which is impressive in spring (when the snow melts). The way afterwards is very well secured, so that children can also be taken along. If you pay close attention, you will definitely see ibexes near the hut.

Nice waterfall very close to the hiking route.

On the descent from the Capanna Scaletta to Campo Blenio there are some waterfalls. I particularly liked this one, especially with the turquoise blue water in the pool below.

Where the Rein da Sumvitg (Somvixer Rhine) leaves the Greina plain in a waterfall, the path branches off, which leads to the Pass Diesrut and to Vrin in the Val Lumnezia.
