The Capanna Brogoldone was once a mountain pasture and is today the result of a desire to preserve the remains of a bygone era. From 1995 to 1998, a group of volunteers set to work renovating the two existing buildings while maintaining the typical structure of the pasture: the former stable became a dormitory, and the building that once served as a cheese dairy and shelter for the mountain herders was converted into a kitchen and dining room. For me it was an extreme challenge to cross this bridge. I don't really have any problems with trains or exposed hikes, but with hanging bridges I reach my limit (fear of heights).

This suspension bridge is a real highlight. You should definitely cross it. Fascinating and frightening at the same time, considering what height it is and what length it is. In our opinion, it is only partially suitable for dogs. Ours had to be carried.

Wonderful, narrow bridge in the Versasca Valley near Lavertezzo, blends in idyllically with the surrounding nature. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of visitors on nice days, there are few parking spaces - it is best to come by public bus.

Great hiking trail along the river. There are numerous bathing spots and marble runs that are well worth seeing. Especially nice for children. However, the hike can be strenuous for small children. But you can only do part of it. The best thing to do is park it downstairs and take the bus upstairs. see also BoBosco.ch

spectacular and also overcrowded as a result. There is a simple reason why it is so well attended: because it is so beautiful! From Lavertezzo south the picture changes: fewer and fewer hikers.
