The chapel of the Evi gorges is brand new: rebuilt after a fire in 2000, it had already experienced many vicissitudes and transformations. The simple oratory intended to protect walkers at the narrowest and most dangerous passage in winter in the Marive gorges was transformed into a chapel in 1863. Its final appearance dates from 1947. It is said that, shortly after the construction of the chapel, miraculous healings were observed there. It becomes a popular place of pilgrimage.
