In the Bättmerhitta, it is easy to linger in the rustic mountain hut atmosphere and thoroughly enjoy the fine Valais specialties. We know from hearsay that many guests take the Fiescheralp-Bettmeralp hiking trail specifically for the unique, impressively sized cream slices - the Bättmerhitta is right on the route. The opening times of the Bättmerhitta depend on the weather. In bad weather, we therefore recommend consulting the restaurant beforehand. The Bettmer Hut 🏡 is located at 2,073 meters in the Aletsch region. The hut can be reached from Bettmeralp in about 1.5 hours and offers breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in the Alps 🏔️. The route is well marked and leads through alpine landscapes and flowering meadows 🌿.
