A visit to Arosa is worthwhile at any time of year; in summer the lake is very beautiful to look at, but in winter it is frozen over.

Along the Schwellisee the S1 trail is mostly easy to ride. A few short sections where you have to push. We can't say anything about the southern extension, it's certainly more difficult.

Brutally beautiful S2 mountain trail, with a few short S3 sections.

Preda station is located on the Albula railway at 1789 m above sea level at the northern end of the Albula tunnel and offers direct journeys towards Filisur - Chur or Samedan - St. Moritz. The IR trains cross there, which creates interesting photo opportunities. Obersee (Arosa) The Obersee is the larger and higher of the two lakes located in the middle of the Arosa settlement area. Its name also derives from this fact. The sister lake at 1691 m is the Untersee, to which it is directly connected via the Mittelbach. The Arosa reservoir is around 130 meters lower in the valley floor and the Schwarzsee is 400 meters east.
