Great hut - extremely friendly We had wet clothes because of the rain and there were drying cabinets in the basement, so everything was dry again after lunch

The Niederelbehütte, located at an altitude of 2310 m, is picturesquely situated next to Lake Sess and offers impressive views of the Verwall.

If it gets too hot, you can cool off in the lake (directly behind the house).

Had a great, delicious stop there today. Great food at normal prices, nice team.

Cozy hut above the Spullersee.. The food is worth it

Cozy hut in the Verwall with a great view and delicious food. The hut is open daily from July to the end of September. Overnight stays in shared rooms or in the camp are possible. You can find more information at https://www.kaltenberghuette.at/.

Very close to the hut there is a small but cold lake for refreshment. In just under half an hour, depending on your level of fitness, you can reach the Kappler Kopf. From here you have a beautiful view of the Niederelbehütte and the Paznauntal and the surrounding mountains.

Fast, good service and good food. Very nice panorama which invites you to slow down.
