Standing on a hill, the castle and church can be seen from a long way coming from the west. A short, tough climb and then a little rest!

Very nice viewpoint into the Mölltal and along the Drau towards Villach. A curve further on there is a perfect rest area at the Marhube inn.

The Jägersteig was partly relocated by fallen trees in the summer of 2023, is very slippery when wet and is only recommended with hiking boots and downhill with poles.

After late arrival we saw that the restaurant was closed on Monday. At the reception they told us they organized a BBQ only for the guests this evening. A great surprise and a wonderful dinner, good food and lovely to sit on the terrace with other guests. Great! The whole atmosphere and hotel are worth to stay one or more days.
