Hut with wonderful views on the northern edge of the Alpine foothills. Excellent cuisine and friendly service.

The well-maintained hut offers plenty of seating (including under a really huge rowan tree!), outside toilets and a drinks machine that is always accessible.

E-bike charging is available, and you should also take the short circular trail to Ebenforst Moor while you're there. And don't forget, the Murau beer is ice cold 🍻

We were there shortly before the season opened. Despite the preparation work, it was a completely relaxed atmosphere and we had a really nice chat with Erich, the hut owner, who unexpectedly invited us for a drink - thanks again. A place to feel good, laugh, chat, relax,............and come back.

There have been new hut owners since December 1st 🥳👏 There is the possibility of staying overnight for around 14 people. Everything worked out great, delicious food, desserts, schnapps, snack platter and breakfast 🤩😋👏👏👏. DEAR FUTURE GUESTS: PLEASE TREAT THE HUT OWNERS WITH RESPECT AND GRATEFULNESS. THERE ARE ONLY A HANDFUL OF CABINS THAT ARE OPEN IN THE WINTER 🥳🥳👏👏

The hut is open on weekends in summer, but only drinks are available. However, the sun terrace is wonderful and perfect for a break.
