Zell am See is an Austrian town on Lake Zell, south of Salzburg. A tower added in the 15th century belongs to the Romanesque parish church of St. Hippolytus. Paths and ski lifts lead to the slopes of the Schmittenhöhe. Because most of the visitors get off at Sr. Bartholomä, there is usually a little less going on at Obersee. When you have reached the Fischunkelalm, the flow of visitors is even greater. From here you hike for about 20 minutes to the Röthbach waterfall.
