Twin Bridges Scenic Bikeway is a popular ride in Central Oregon for good reason. The bikeway gets its name from the two crossings it makes over the Deschutes River. You'll find yourself cycling through forests and high desert terrain all while marveling and the stunning views of the Cascade Mountains.

This urban park offers stunning views of Bend and the surrounding area from the top of the butte. If you feel ambitious after a long ride, it's a quick mile along the paved route to the top, where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. It is an excellent place to watch a sunset after a long day.

Bend Brewing Co. is the second oldest brewery in town and is a great place to stop. The staff is very welcoming, and the pond-side brewery serves up some of the best bar food in the city along with their award-winning beers by way of an expansive lawn, complete with food carts and an outdoor bar. It is a great place to stop after a long ride.

This section of the Deschutes River Trail is part of a 12-mile-long system offering trails connected via three footbridges on both sides of the river. It is wide, paved, and a great way to get some cycling in off the street. The Old Mill District is here and was once home to two large lumber mills. It is now a mix of trails, parks, shops, restaurants and other businesses.
