Shortly after leaving the Kemptner hut, it goes uphill. Thus, it goes straight to almost 150 meters in altitude to the Mädelejoch without having to run in. On the way to the Joch there are always wonderful views of the Kemptener Hut. Here it is a good idea to take a photo or two and enjoy the panorama for a moment. The path climbs steadily over scree in places. Once at the top, after a short stop at the border with Austria, it goes downhill again on the long path into the valley.
