A beautiful destination. An impressive tower structure with a serving tavern. A brisk ascent via the Wolfsgrube. The descent via the Vorder-Tremmel forest road makes it a circular route. Starting point: the Sachendorf parking lot. The tavern is open from May 1st to October 31st (10am - 7pm).

A detour to the Maria Buch pilgrimage church is worthwhile because you'll find peace, impressive architecture, and a breathtaking view of the Mur Valley. 🙏✨ Even if you don't come to pray, the atmosphere is heavenly!

A detour to the Eppenstein Castle ruins is worthwhile, as it offers a medieval feel with panoramic views of the Mur Valley! 🏰✨ Perfect for a little trip back in time, a few epic photos, and the realization: ruins can be damn cool, too.

The castle ruins are constantly being restored by a great club, if you have forced them you will be rewarded with a great view the knights would be happy😁

The Steinplan is located at 1670 meters and offers a wonderful view of the Murtal and Carinthia. At the Steinplan refuge you will be fed very well. You can also spend the night in this hut if you wish. The prices for this can be found under the link below. The hut is open from early May to early November. Monday is a rest day. Various paths lead to the Steinplan, which can be walked or ridden on either on foot or by mountain bike. The ascent by mountain bike is possible from Gobernitz and Kleinlobming.
