Impressive waterfall 😍 and a beautiful nature trail up to there 🤩.

Also in winter more than worth it! Beautiful with all the ice that forms around the waterfall! The road is slippery and somewhat more difficult to walk. Road is not suitable for strollers.

The Dalfazer waterfall is by far the highest waterfall on Lake Achensee. The water plunges over 60 meters into the depths. This is an impressive natural experience, especially after the snow melts in early summer. You have a great view of the waterfall from a wooden viewing platform. The via ferrata is to the right of the waterfall.

When it has rained a lot and during snowmelt it also carries water.

On one side the Buchau waterfall (when it has water), on the other side a beautiful view of Lake Achensee.

The Dalfazer Waterfall Via Ferrata is a scenically impressive via ferrata right next to the Dalfazer Waterfall. A short, interesting training tour, but the long D passage is quite challenging. Recommended in combination with a family hiking trip, where the experienced via ferrata hiker briefly branches off to the via ferrata and continues the hike at the exit. Via ferrata set and helmet are absolutely necessary.

Is it possible to go there with a stroller?

It is the smaller of the waterfalls in Eben, but is very beautiful to look at in spring when the snow melts. It is a great hiking destination with children because they like to have a waterfall as their destination. We combine this hike with a visit to the Dalfazer waterfall. Today, September 23rd, it only had a little water.
