The Neue Bamberger Hütte is beautifully situated in a beautiful high valley behind Kelchsau in the Kitzbühel Alps. In summer, guests can enjoy magnificent green alpine meadows and numerous easily accessible summits. The hut offers rooms and dormitories of varying sizes and has been designated a child-friendly hut, which can be both a blessing and a curse depending on family status and occupancy. ;-)

The Neue Bamberger is an Alpine club hut where you can also spend the night. Ascents are possible from both Kelchsau and Königsleiten/Ronach. However, if you set off from the south, you have a long stage ahead of you. The two Salzach vultures are ideal as a local peak. Doable with snowshoes, but also a nice route with touring skis.

Very good cottage with helpful and nice staff. Great kitchen with delicious dishes, whether breakfast buffet or dinner in a package with half board. Highly recommended if you want to switch off or hike or look for emeralds.

The Gamskogelhütte is a hotspot for cyclists. On a sunny day you can see an armada of bikes parked outside. With THE panorama and local delicacies that strengthen us, it's no wonder!

The Venediger taxi takes you up and back down. A good start to the Venediger. A bit boring as a hike alone, as it is almost the entire road and cars drive past you. It would be more worthwhile to climb up via the Eisseehütte or the Essener-Rostocker-Hütte and then descend from the Johannishütte.

The cottage is superb. Congratulations to the Alpine Club Section Bamberg, a great hut with great tenants. We thank Paulina and Thomas for the excellent accommodation. Run so nice and friendly, uncomplicated and super pragmatic simply CLASS!. Nothing to say about the kitchen. You just have to try it. Thomas conjures up great mountain food. The risotto hmmmh, and many other hmmms for 3 days not to forget delicious food and breakfast. We look forward to every tour and will definitely be back. The whole family Klein, from Lauf 😁👍
