On the other side of the narrow strip of forest behind the summit cross you have a wonderful view to the north and east.

The Heulantsch (1,473 m) is one of numerous mountains in the Almenland Nature Park. At the summit cross there is a summit book for entries. The view of the Graz mountains, the Hochschwab and the Zirbitzkogel is amazing. Be sure to plan a little time and let the place work its magic on you.

I wish you a happy new year! Please can someone take a new booklet to the summit when they get the chance? Unfortunately, the summit book was full on December 31, 2023. Thank you :)
