The small but beautiful waterfall of the Vils River is located very close to the pedestrian bridge, which you pass when hiking from Tannheim to Lake Vilsalpsee.

The path through the forest to the Vilsalpsee is easy to walk, varied and simply beautiful. And much better than sharing the road with a bus, train and carriage 🤷🏻♀️

The start of the via ferrata can be reached from Holzgau in about half an hour. It is divided into three routes of varying difficulty levels, which can be easily combined with one another: the chamois (B/C), the ibex (C+) and the eagle route (D/E). A highlight is certainly the crossing of the roaring Simms waterfall using a total of three rope bridges. A via ferrata experience that is absolutely recommended!👌
