St. Josephs in Speyer is a Catholic church and the center of a whole complex of buildings belonging to the parish of St. Joseph. The Josephskirche is, next to the cathedral, the second largest Catholic church in the city of Speyer. The foundation stone was laid on June 9, 1912. Just two years later, on November 22, 1914, the then bishop Dr. v. Faulhaber the church. In the summer of 1917, the painter Ronge from Munich painted the pictures for the side altars. The four high altarpieces, which show scenes from Jesus' childhood, also come from him. He used paintings after Rogier v. as models. d. Weyden in the old Pinakothek in Munich.
