The Amalienruhe, an idyllic vantage point on the Schluchsee shore, enchants with a beautiful lake panorama. A romantic "Bellevue Pavilion" was built on this characteristic rocky outcrop when tourism at Schluchsee was still in its infancy. The Amalienruhe is located directly on the circular lake trail and rewards all hikers and walkers with an impressive all-round view of a wonderfully harmonious Black Forest landscape. Ideal place for a rest. There are hearty but also Vespers for the small appetite. The atmosphere is just pleasantly inviting and it's wonderfully quiet. There is a nice play area for children!

The Todtnauer Hütte is the southernmost of the managed huts around the Feldberg summit and can be easily integrated into hiking tours - even from hut to hut.

Good kitchen, great view, rich breakfast, very nice staff, cozy rooms, easy access, parking in front of the house. Just great!
