The monastery pond is a private pond and belongs to the Landgasthof Klosterweiherhof. I spent a few nice days with her on very nice hikes and on my return I enjoyed cooling off in the monastery pond.

We have planned a stopover at the Loipenhaus for our hike with a stop and tasting in spring 2023 (May) and autumn 2023 (September) in the BMMC distillery (Dachsberg) and a visit to the markets in 79837 St. Blasien. Very friendly reception, nice location. Closed on Tuesday, but you can have dinner 700 m away in the Dachsberger Hof (closed on the website, by mistake, also noted for Tuesday, Aug. 22).

Very wonderful mountain peak on the Blößling. Fantastic views and very beautiful vegetation.

Anyone who is out and about in Höchenschwand and is taking a ride should stop here - no matter what time of year. Self-service. Nice little playground for children right next to it. And as you can see from the photos, riders 🐎 or the coachman from Höchenschwand (near Wolfspfad) also stop here for a rest👍
