ゼープニッツの滝・トップ20

Closed from 16 June until 27 July 2025 due to repair work on the path and embankment. We saw the signs with this notice yesterday, 12 June.

It's a shame, but that's probably typical for us Germans these days. We have to fight for the opening. Man, open it again. Unfortunately, I don't remember it being open anymore. It must have been very nice here once.

A wonderful arrival by boat at the Lower Lock.

The Beuthenfall car park is located in the middle of the Kirnischtal. If you want to walk or climb the Häntzschelstiege, this is the shortest way there. You can also park mobile. But with my D1 network I have no reception there and you should take this into account. Only coins are accepted. With the E Plus network, someone parked their mobile there (mobile phone parking)

From bottom to top the barge is often empty. Just wait on the dam for the next boat, you pay at the top (7/8€ only in cash). Since they only leave the top if there are passengers, get there before 3pm in the off-season.

This Lostplace ambience also makes the Beuthenbach am Beuthenfall interesting in a different way.

Doesn't look really great among the ruins.

The waterfall is more like a waterfall. It's still nice there.
