The fountains are beautifully decorated throughout the year, especially at Easter. Approximately in the center of Laufenburg's 🇨🇭 old town, there are two lovely little cafes where you can relax.

The elevated location of Laufenburg in Baden, especially from the "Kriegerdenkmal" (War Memorial), the "Schlössle" (Little Castle), and the "Kirche Heilig Geist" (Holy Spirit Parish Church), offers a fantastic view of the two Laufenburgs, the Rhine, and the surrounding countryside. The Wasenbrunnen is located where the Hintere, Obere and Untere Wasengasse meet. The expansive twelve-sided fountain trough rises on a narrow, circular pedestal made of cobblestones. Above it, the red Laufenburg lion hangs on an iron rod.
