The Viewing Chamber (not to be confused with the Dragon's Cave!) is, as the name suggests, open on two sides (southwest and south/northeast) and lies just a few meters below the South Rock. There is NO railing here (except on the stairs). You reach the Viewing Chamber from the South Rock via an entrance at the base of a birch tree (which branches into two trunks) and then via a staircase hewn into the rock, which makes a 90-degree turn and has a metal railing at the bottom. A truly special place! One of the rock faces down here looks like a dragon's face!

If you hike from Bad Dürkheim on the Palatinate Weinsteig, you have the first wonderful view of the day from here.

A few meters before the southern rock tip there is a narrow passage through which one can walk can descend to the viewing chamber, a cave open on both sides of the rock. Great views and there is also a stone dragon head here. Well who discovers him?

One of the more imposing Bismarck towers. For a break with refreshments there is a kiosk and, in addition to various seating options, a sun lounger. Descent over the Geyersbrunnen with a few steps for jumping. I can recommend it.

Historically everything has already been said. My verdict as a MTB enthusiast is as follows. Straight ahead from the steps, i.e. at the front, it goes a little through the bushes down to the barrier. A DH trail that is known in the scene, the upper 1st part is stony and technically demanding. The short 2nd part has 5 jumps, radio factor 10. The remaining sections are super flowy and can be taken with speed and small jumps. In the last part there is a mega jump for the brave, but be careful ⚠ .... too much speed, wrong technique = AUA !!! Because e is so beautiful "repeat" 🤟 Hikers should avoid the trail, there is a deer crossing 😜🤪😛😝

Great destination between Leistadt and Höningen. Small indoor area, large outdoor area with a small schnapps hut .... which invites you to hut evenings in winter, the campfire and the offered grill specialties round off the whole thing. There is a large parking lot on site, usually overcrowded on a good day, so there is usually wild parking. Many well-marked hiking trails around, the Bismarck Tower and TV Tower are the closest. The Monster Lake for people with more fitness.

Nice vantage point high up in the vineyards. The tower was built in the 19th century as an attraction for spa guests.
