Everyone has different tastes. The cake is delicious and the view is great. I live in Kempten and have crossed the cafe off my list because it is very crowded. If necessary, only during the week and outside of holiday season. The many flies from the cowshed are also annoying when you can sit outside. You can eat delicious food in peace and quiet at the Krone in Stein and in the Sonne in Niedersonthofen.

Fantastically located ruin with a great view towards Oberstdorf. It's worth stopping off at the castle cafe. Nice to combine with a walk through the Werdensteiner Moos.

The Burg-Cafe is highly recommended...the Kaiserschmarrn was top notch! We were lucky and got a place even without a reservation.

Possible start/finish point from Heinrichweg. First a great knight's path and then the castle ruins. When the flag is hoisted, you can visit the ruins. A great experience for small and large knights.
