The building has an interesting history: - Built in 1869 for the Prussian Army. Until 1896, it served as the first barracks in the province of Hanover. - Subsequently, it housed a vocational school for ten years. - In 1907, the mail-order company August Stukenbrok acquired the building and converted it into an office. - Later, the building became part of the Heidemann Works, which produced bicycles and auto parts. - Since 1997, it has served as the New Town Hall of Einbeck.

Easily accessible by mountain bike. Many bird species can be observed here. The numerous storks in summer are particularly worth seeing.
