One of the lakes on the new cycle route "Palatinate Lakes Tour". Restaurant, toilets, benches, playground, pedal boat rental, sculptures ... everything is there that you need on your tour.

You can walk around the lake completely. Both on foot and by bike!

Through the natural monument Elendsklamm and the beginning of the Sickinger Höhe with the pigeon head on the German premium hiking trail. Impressive gorge with a “primeval forest”, which is a unique habitat for rare animal and plant species. The path along the gorge is well developed and secured with railings, bridges and steps. When inspecting in late autumn and winter, make sure that you have weather-appropriate equipment. In midsummer the gorge offers a welcome cool hiking trail.
