To us, a mill pond like the one presented to the biker here may seem very ordinary, but in the fantasy world of someone like Otfried Preußler (1923 to 2013), who became famous with the children's books he wrote, things look very different: It is also the habitat of a water sprite family, and his book "The Little Water Sprite", which is still popular today, tells of the adventures that the family's offspring experience in the mill pond. When I still lived in Jettingen (2020) I was there often. Great swimming lake. Also beautiful to look at in winter when everything is frozen. Nice memory. :)

Great recreational facility with the possibility to camp there too!

Always worth a detour!! To watch, try it out for yourself, cool down or stop in... Everyone is super friendly!!

The lake is very secluded, but is still easy to find. Ideal for a short break with a view of the water.

Very nicely located recreation pond, with a great meadow and furniture... only it was now significantly less voluminous because it was drained...
